According to a recent report,Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been demoted on the list of senior royals as has been posted on the Royal Family’s Official Website. The couple is now below 9 members of the royal family.
After having stepped back from their duties, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have moved to the city of Los Angeles, after shuffling back and forth between Canada and North America. They last appeared in Oprah Winfrey’s interview where they talk about the various reasons that led to their dropping out of the royal duties.
The couple was previously ranked below The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Willian and his wife, Kate Middleton. Now according to the current ranking, they are placed below Prince Charles, Camilla, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex.
Prince William was last seen in the United Kingdom to pay his respects to his Late Grandfather, Prince Philip’s and then returned to the United States.
According to the website, Harry’s biography has also been updated to “As announced in January, the Duke and the Duchess have stepped back as senior members of The Royal Family. They are balancing their time between United Kingdom and North America, whilst continuing to honour their duty to the Queen, the commonwealth and their patronages. Frogmore Cottage in the UK remains their family home.”
