Principal Arrested by Gujarat Police for Killing 6-year-old Girl After Failed Rape Attempt

A Principal of a primary school in Pipaliya, Gujarat’s Dohad district, was arrested for reportedly killing a 6-year-old girl who refused his rape attempts. On September 19, the girl’s body was discovered in the school compound. She was a Class 1 student. The victim’s postmortem report revealed that she was choked to death.

Dohad Superintendent of Police Rajdeep Singh Jhala stated that a total of ten squads were created to examine the illicit activity. During the investigation, authorities discovered that the parents had driven the daughter to school with the school principal, Govind Nat, in his car. When the girl didn’t return from school, her parents enquired about her whereabouts, and Nat said that he had dropped her off at school.

Following an inquiry, police detained and questioned Govind Nat. During the interview, Nat admitted to killing the girl after she refused his attempts to rape her. Nat added that as he attempted to rape the girl, she screamed. To stop her screaming, he pressed his hands forcefully around her mouth. However, the girl died, and he hid her in the back of the automobile.

Govind Nat returned to school and resumed teaching the students. After classes, he returned to the car, discarded all of her belongings near the school gate, and left the girl’s body behind the classroom. When the girl’s parents and locals arrived at the school in the evening of September 19, they found her possessions at the gate and her body in the school compound.
