Priyanka Chopra’s win at the Miss World pageant in 200 was a historical one and is something Indians till date cherish. However she had a small accident minutes before she had to go on stage and thats why she had to cover it up with a tendril of hair.
While Priyanka was getting ready for the pageant, she burnt her skin with a curling iron when someone accidentally ‘jostled’ her. The burn left a mark on her forehead which she later thought of covering twitch her hair. On the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she revealed, “There were like, 90 girls backstage, and everyone was moving around and getting their hair and make-up done. I was trying to curl my hair and somebody jostled me. I burnt myself and the skin scabbed.”
