Priyanka Chopra is already creating early buzz for SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated film Varanasi. After the filmmaker unveiled the teaser at a grand event in Hyderabad, Priyanka joined co-stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran for international media interactions, calling the experience “exhilarating.”
On Tuesday, the actor posted a set of photos on Instagram from the film’s promotional activities. In one picture, she captured a cheerful selfie featuring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj. Another showed the trio posing together, with Priyanka dressed in a stylish black sheer shirt and matching skirt. She expressed deep admiration for her co-stars, writing that working with “two legends of the Telugu and Malayalam industries” in a Rajamouli-directed project felt like a true privilege.
Priyanka shared that international platforms, including journalists and film outlets, were already showing huge curiosity about Varanasi, despite its release being a year away. She wrote that seeing the global excitement build so early was “amazing,” adding her hope that the film would meet the expectations of audiences.
During the teaser launch in Hyderabad, Priyanka also spoke about her bond with her co-stars. She revealed that although Prithviraj appears menacing as the antagonist in Varanasi, he is warm and friendly off-screen. She further thanked Mahesh Babu and her family for helping her explore Hyderabad during the shoot and making her feel at home.
