Priyanka Chopra is set to take the spotlight at the upcoming India Conference at Harvard University, with the organisers confirming her as the headline speaker for the 2026 edition. The student-led conference, now in its 23rd year, will be held on the Harvard campus on February 14 and 15 and will explore India’s changing role in global conversations.
This year’s conference is themed “The India We Imagine” and aims to bring together voices from policy, academia, business and culture to reflect on the ideas and values shaping the country’s future. Along with Priyanka, the speaker line-up includes prominent names such as author and parliamentarian Dr Shashi Tharoor and academic Amitav Acharya, among other distinguished participants.
Beyond her work as an actor and producer, Priyanka is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, a role that aligns with the conference’s focus on global engagement and leadership. Her inclusion as the headline speaker has generated strong reactions online, with fans expressing excitement about hearing her perspective on entertainment, culture and India’s place in the world.
Priyanka was last seen in the Hollywood film Heads of State, where she shared screen space with Idris Elba and John Cena. She is now awaiting the release of her upcoming action thriller The Bluff, directed by Frank E. Flowers. The film, which also stars Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green and Temuera Morrison, is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on February 25.In addition to her international projects, Priyanka is preparing for a return to Indian cinema after eight years with SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi.
