Prominent players of Everton FC are all set to leave the club very soon

The Toffees have announced that the 32-year-old striker, who joined from Arsenal in January 2018 for £20 million and made 23 appearances for the first club Southampton on loan last season, will leave Goodison Park. Everton has confirmed that Joshua King and Yannick Bolasie will also leave the club at the end of the month when their contracts expire. After his loan spell, Muhamed Besic is also set to Everton as his deal expires, with Robin Olsen returning to Roma.

Last month, it was reported that Walcott would sign a two-year contract with Southampton, where he has spent the season on loan. Bolasie is scheduled to conduct additional negotiations with Middlesbrough following a good loan spell there.

In all, Walcott made 85 appearances for the club and scored 11 goals. King joined Everton from Bournemouth in February and made 11 substitute appearances as the club finished 10th in the Premier League. During his time on Merseyside, he did not score.

Bolasie, a £25 million purchase from Crystal Palace in August 2016, has had several loan periods away from Merseyside after struggling to get into the team owing to several injuries, with Championship club Middlesbrough his most recent destination.

A statement said:

“Everton can confirm Joshua King, Theo Walcott, Yannick Bolasie and Muhamed Besic will leave when their current contracts expire at the end of the month, while on-loan goalkeeper Robin Olsen will return to his parent club, Roma. Everton wishes to thank all departing players for their contribution throughout their time at the club.”
