Property sales witness green shots in September quarter

The real estate sector witnessed a great start in 2020 but the pandemic played the spoilsport for the sector and the sales and demand for property fell drastically during the period.

However, green shots of recovery were noticed in the September quarter as some states reduced stamp duty and other charges. Financial institutions brought down home loan interest rates to the sub-7 percent level.

The sales are now on positive side and the sector is ready to bounce back.
