According to reports, Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and his spouse were the victims of a Thursday burglary at the PSG shot-stopper’s home in France.
As per sources, the keeper and his spouse were tied up and stripped during the heist while the thieves looted the house and caused monetary damage of around 500,000 Euros.
After the horrific incident, the 24-year-old PSG goalkeeper and his wife went into a hotel near their home, from where he was taken to a nearby hospital to deal with the shock.
“The victims, who were tied up, managed to take refuge in a hotel located not far from their home around 3:20 am,” a source said.
The source added, “The staff of the establishment then alerted the police and took care of the couple, who were in shock. The 24-year-old Italian goalkeeper and his partner were taken to hospital for treatment.”
Donnarumma has been the first-choice goalkeeper at PSG since his move from hometown club AC Milan in the year 2021.
Since joining the Parisian club in the French top division, the Italian goalkeeper has managed to win two Ligue 1 championships, but he has not been able to put his extraordinary domestic dominance to continental glory.
