Punjab government has wrote a letter to central government asking to ensure priority allocation of Coronavirus vaccination whenever available, on account that Punjab has more fatality rate and co-morbities, it should be given priority. So far Punjab has witnessed 1.55 lakh cases and 4,905 deaths. The state also wants to know whether the entire operation will be funded by the central government entirely. The CM also demanded to know the clear definition of the term “front line workers”; it includes Police, Armed Forces & Municipal workers.
