Sundar C and Vishal are poised to rejoin for the fourth time, having previously worked together on Madha Gaja Raja, Ambala, and Action. Their upcoming action flick is called Purushan (which means Husband in Tamil). In an official title announcement commercial, the filmmakers provided a 5-minute-and-41-second look into the film, providing an impactful preview.
The scene opens with Tamannaah Bhatia’s character watching a daily soap opera. The show’s hero, Yogi Babu, also happens to be her neighbour. Meanwhile, her husband, played by Vishal, is seen cleaning their home, acting humble and compliant to his wife’s wishes. He goes inside to brew tea as ordered, only to be followed by Yogi Babu’s character.
As Vishal’s character enters the kitchen, numerous guys begin fighting him, resulting in widespread bloodshed within their home. In an effort to keep his wife from learning the danger, the husband slashes each of them and disposes of their bodies before she discovers. The full 5-minute-and-41-second preview effectively conveys the film’s tone, which combines action and comedy, and eventually unveils the title Purushan.
Sundar C wrote and directed the film, which is produced by ACS Arun Kumar. Hiphop Tamizha once again composes the music, while Venkatt Ragavan writes the screenplay and narrative. Gopi Amarnath is the cinematographer, and Roger is the editor. The shoot is set to begin shortly. Interestingly, the announcement of Purushan comes after Sundar C was initially tapped to direct Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar173.
However, due to prior obligations, the director dropped out of the project. Later, Don filmmaker Cibi Chakravarthy was brought on board to direct the Sivakarthikeyan film, which is co-produced by Kamal Haasan.
