
Advance ticket bookings for Pushpa 2: The Rule have already begun. The film, which stars Sukumar, Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, will release in theatres on December 5. The movie, which is a follow-up to the popular Pushpa: The Rise from 2021, has made over ₹42.50 crore in pre-sales globally.
Pushpa 2: The Rule has so far generated ₹25.57 crore in pre-sales in India, according to Sacnilk.com. For over 16,000 screenings, the movie sold over 8 lakh tickets. The sum includes the 2D, 3D, 4DX, and IMAX versions of the movie in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
The movie’s US distributor, Prathyangira Cinemas, reports that pre-sales have brought in over $2 million (₹16.93 crore), bringing the total to over ₹42.50 crore in both India and the US. In the US, more than 1010 venues have sold over 65k tickets.
In the first twelve hours, 1.25 lakh tickets for the Hindi-dubbed version of Pushpa: The Rise were sold. By midday on December 1, Pushpa 2: The Rule had sold 1.8 lakh tickets in Hindi, putting them ahead by a significant margin. So far, the movie has made around ₹12 crore in Telugu and ₹8 crore in Hindi.
Arjun’s portrayal of Pushpa Raj is further explored in Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule. His marriage to Rashmika’s character Srivalli and his animosity towards Fahadh’s character Bhanwar Singh Shekawat are anticipated to be further explored in the sequel.
Peelings, the fourth song from the movie, was released by the producers over the weekend. It is claimed that the movie will run for three hours and twenty minutes.
