Pushpa 2: The Rule Worldwide box office day 1, film opens to ₹279 crore

Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil feature in Sukumar’s film Pushpa 2: The Rule had paid premieres across India on the evening of December 4 before going on sale in theatres on December 5. On its first day of release, the movie brought in ₹279.20 crore worldwide, according to Sacnilk.com.

According to the website, Pushpa 2: The Rule made ₹10.65 crore net during its premiere and ₹164.25 crore net on its first day of release, for a total of ₹174.9 crore net and ₹209.2 crore gross on the first day in India. According to the website, the overseas collections total ₹70 crore, bringing the total worldwide collection to ₹279.20 crore.

Given that RRR’s global box office receipts of ₹223 crore already set a record for the largest opening for an Indian film, these are enormous sums. On its first day of release, Pushpa 2: The Rule set a number of records, becoming the first movie to earn over ₹50 crore net in both Telugu and Hindi on the same day and the highest opening at the Indian box office ever with ₹209 crore gross.

By surpassing Jawan, the movie has the highest opening for a Hindi-dubbed picture and the highest opening for a Hindi film overall, with a gross of ₹72 crore. It also beat Kalki 2898 AD to have the largest opening for an Indian film abroad.

Despite it being a workday, all of this is true. In Pushpa 2: The Rule, Pushpa Raj, a red sanders smuggler, takes control of the syndicate in an attempt to win respect. Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, his police officer and half-brother, still won’t give it to him, though. On day two, the movie is now anticipated to surpass the ₹400 crore milestone globally.
