Actor Raj Arjun turned emotional while speaking about his daughter Sara Arjun, who is currently receiving praise for her performance in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. At a recent event in Mumbai, the actor reflected on his personal and professional struggles, revealing how fatherhood transformed his life.
Recalling his early days in the city, Raj spoke about the uncertainty and repeated rejections that nearly broke his confidence. However, he said the birth of Sara in 2005 marked a turning point, giving him renewed purpose and strength. He shared that her presence pushed him to keep going, even during phases when projects stalled and financial struggles deepened.
Describing those years as difficult, Raj spoke about how his daughter became his emotional anchor. He shared that despite his struggles, it was Sara’s quiet strength that held him together, adding that her presence made him feel supported every day. Referring to her as his “Dhurandhar,” he said she was the one taking care of him, giving him courage to stand strong when he felt he had nothing left.
He also remembered a significant moment in 2016, when taking Sara to a casting office unexpectedly led to new opportunities. Soon after, he landed a role in Secret Superstar, which went on to achieve massive success globally and brought him wider recognition.
Calling Sara the “light” in his life, Raj said their bond has evolved over the years, with roles now reversed. He expressed pride in her achievements, adding that while he once supported her, she now gives him strength, making their journey deeply meaningful and fulfilling.
