Bollywood actor Rajat Bedi recently opened up about the challenges his daughter Vera faced after a surge of public attention. The actor made a striking comeback with The Ba***ds of Bollywood, where his character Jaraj Saxena became an instant hit. At the series screening, Rajat arrived with his family, and Vera immediately caught the eye of onlookers, with many drawing comparisons to young Kareena Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai.
In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Rajat shared how his daughter handled the sudden fame. “She was very overwhelmed and scared as well. One day she was unable to focus on her work and said, ‘Papa, people are making AI images of me, galat galat images bana rahe hain. Some are making posts comparing me to Aishwarya and Kareena and talking rubbish like I’ll eat up 10 Aishwaryas or 10 Kareenas,’” he said.
The actor also requested fans to refrain from creating AI-generated images of his children. “I mean, this is wrong. She is happy too, but somewhere she is not liking the way it’s coming out. People are making inappropriate AI images of her, and there are too many fan pages about her and my son as well,” he added.
Rajat’s son Vivaan Bedi is working as an assistant director under Aryan Khan for The Ba***ds of Bollywood and aspires to enter acting. Vera, on the other hand, is still undecided about pursuing a career in the film industry. Rajat, the son of director-producer Narendra Bedi and grandson of Urdu writer-director Rajinder Singh Bedi, has appeared in notable films such as Koi… Mil Gaya, Partner, and Rocky The Rebel, while also featuring in Punjabi and South Indian films.
