Actor Rakhi Sawant never fails to make headlines with her unfiltered honesty and humour. In a recent podcast with Hindi Rush, the entertainer opened up about the people who stood by her during her toughest times in the industry. She called filmmaker Farah Khan her “sugar mummy” and fondly described Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan as her “godfathers.”
Speaking about her special bond with Farah, Rakhi shared that the director has been nothing short of family. “Farah Khan is my sugar mummy, godmother and Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan are my godfathers. I have no one, main laawaris hun. Farah ma’am gave me so many gifts a TV, washing machine, utensils, pressure cooker on Diwali. She is helping me rebuild my house,” Rakhi said emotionally.
The actor further revealed that after returning home three and a half years later, she found her house completely ruined by rain. Farah, she said, stepped in to renovate it and install new flooring. Rakhi also praised Salman Khan, calling him the “messiah of the poor,” recalling how he supported her mother’s cancer treatment and helped her re-enter Bigg Boss when she had no work.
Recently, Rakhi visited Farah’s Mumbai home for a vlog, where she humorously compared their houses and admired Farah’s seven-bedroom apartment with a private pool. The two shared laughter, gifts, and warm camaraderie that fans loved seeing.
