Actor Rakul Preet Singh, who rose to fame in the Telugu film industry with hits like Sarrainodu, Dhruva and Nannaku Prematho, has opened up about the special qualities she observed in some of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars.
During a recent conversation with Siddharth Kannan, she reflected on her experience working with Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Allu Arjun, all of whom she has shared the screen with during her South Indian career.
While many admire these actors for their work ethic, Rakul believes their individuality goes far beyond dedication. Calling Jr NTR a “natural actor,” she said he carries an effortless charm and unmatched dancing ability. According to her, he can pick up even the most complex choreography simply by watching it once, something she feels he was “born with.”
Rakul then praised Allu Arjun for his long-term vision, noting that he has always aimed to take Telugu cinema to global audiences. She admired his team spirit and said that his forward-thinking mindset sets him apart.
Speaking about Ram Charan, Rakul highlighted his childlike energy and the way he balances stardom with innocence. She also appreciated Mahesh Babu’s grounded nature, especially the way he maintains a beautiful balance between his family life and his professional commitments.
After delivering major hits in Telugu, Rakul successfully transitioned to Bollywood with Yaariyan and later gained stronger visibility with De De Pyaar De.
