A month after a fan lost their life in a stampede at the Pushpa 2: The Rule premiere in Hyderabad, two fans who were at the Game Changer pre-release event in Rajahmundry perished in a mishap on their way back to Kakinada. Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan offered the families ₹20 lakh in financial assistance.
On Saturday night, Thokada Charan and Aarava Manikanta from Gaigolupadu in Kakinada went to the Game Changer pre-release event in Rajahmundry. They were hurried to the hospital after a van struck their bike on the way home, but they passed away from their wounds. Producer Dil Raju, who was saddened by their passing, gave the victims’ families ₹5 lakh each.
Ram, the main character of Game Changer, and his uncle Pawan, an actor and the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, were present at the function. Additionally, they gave the victims’ families ₹10 lakh each. Ram sent his staff to visit with the families to provide them more support and expressed his sympathies.
In a tweet about the event on X (previously Twitter), Pawan criticised the previous administration for failing to maintain the ADB road where the fans perished. In addition to writing to the family to offer his sympathies, he expressed his concern that something similar might occur at the event and urged everyone to return home safely.
Additionally, he stated, “We would give the relatives of the deceased Rs. 5 lakh apiece as financial support on behalf of the Jana Sena Party. I have explicitly instructed my office officials to plan for sufficient government support.“
