Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, RC16 is set against the backdrop of a village and features Ram Charan in a never-seen-before avatar. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, while the ensemble cast includes veteran actor Shiva Rajkumar and Mirzapur fame Divyenndu. Music maestro AR Rahman is composing the film’s soundtrack.
This film marks Janhvi’s second outing in Telugu cinema, following her debut in Devara: Part 1, alongside Jr NTR. The 2024 blockbuster was an action-packed drama revolving around a coastal village chieftain.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen in Param Sundari alongside Sidharth Malhotra, while Ram Charan, who was last seen in Shankar’s Game Changer, is also gearing up for RC17 with director Sukumar.
