Ravi Dubey, who plays Laxman in the upcoming epic Ramayana, posted a picture of himself with Ranbir Kapoor and Nitesh Tiwari, the film’s director. Ravi referred to Ranbir and Nitesh as “legends” in the snapshot he shared on Instagram on Friday.
Nitesh Tiwari grinned for the camera while Ranbir and Ravi stood on either side of him. Behind them, the film’s crew could be seen. In the photo, Ranbir was dressed in a black shirt, white shoes, and matching slacks. He had a clean-shaven appearance. Nitesh was dressed in jeans and a checkered shirt. Ravi chose to wear jeans, trousers, and a white T-shirt.
Ravi shared the picture on his instagram handle and captioned it, “Ram is rich in patience and great virtue, he is the conqueror of the world. In the company of legends (folded hand @niteshtiwari22 sir #ranbirkapoor bhai (brother).”
An overview of the “immortal story of Rama vs. Ravana” was provided via the film’s opening video, which was released earlier this month. “A decade of ambition. unwavering belief in bringing the world the greatest epic ever. “A result of some of the best in the world working together to make sure that Ramayana is presented with the most respect and reverence,” the film’s creators stated at the time.
The statement states that Sunny Deol will play Lord Hanuman, Sai Pallavi will play Goddess Sita, while Yash will play Ravana. The film, written by Shridhar Raghavan and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with eight-time Oscar winner DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, also features music by Oscar winners Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. On Diwali 2026, Ramayana Part 1 will be released, and on Diwali 2027, the second installment.
