Ranbir Kapoor Introduces Daughter Raha to Music with Raj Kapoor’s Iconic Track

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor recently shared a heartwarming moment with his daughter Raha, revealing the first song he played for her—an iconic track by his grandfather, the legendary Raj Kapoor.
Speaking at the 50th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Ranbir shared the special memory of introducing Raha to the timeless song Kisi Ki Muskurahaton Pe.

The actor expressed his deep admiration for the song, describing its lyrics as simple yet profound, offering a great philosophy for life. He highlighted the importance of such music in shaping values and passing on cultural legacy. Ranbir also shared his concern about the future, particularly the world his daughter will inherit.

As a father, he believes it’s crucial for artists to not only entertain but also educate the public, especially in an age of misinformation. He emphasized the role of cinema in raising awareness about pressing issues, including environmental protection and the impact of social media.

On the professional front, Ranbir is keeping busy with several projects. He will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, slated for release during Diwali 2026 and 2027. Additionally, he is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, where he stars alongside Vicky Kaushal and his wife Alia Bhatt.
