According to the witness, she witnessed the rapper enter Wheatley’s home and use a gun to chase him out. Gunshots were fired during the altercation, and Wheatley was ultimately shot to death.
The rapper, according to Strong, “shot about three times after he [Wheatley] fell and he walked over to me and he pointed the gun at me and asked if I was going to tell it.” Strong reported that the rapper returned to the location where the victim was lying and fired one last shot at his head before leaving the area in a red pickup.
