Fans of television star Nandish Sandhu have been informed of some wonderful personal news. Nandish announced on social media that he and actress Kavita Banerjee are engaged in September of this year.
Additionally, he posted a tale that Kavita later reposted, in which the couple is shown holding hands, with Kavita showing off her engagement ring and the message indicating their special date: May 9, 25. He captioned the post, “Hi Partner. 💍❤️🌟 Ready? 😁.”
Modeling was Nandish’s first job before switching to television. His role of Veer Singh Bundela in Uttaran (2009–2012) brought him widespread recognition. Additionally, he starred in television series such as Grahan (2021), Beintehaa (2014), and Phir Subah Hogi (2012). IMDb lists Super 30 (2019), Phir Subah Hogi (2012), and Jubilee (2023) as some of his film credits.
Regarding his personal life, Nandish was formerly wed to Rashami Desai, an actress. After falling in love on the sets of Uttaran, they were married in 2012, however they split up three years later. Thinking back on that chapter, Nandish said to Siddharth Kannan, “I believe that we both made the right choice in deciding to part ways. Our mental processes were not functioning properly. I believe we rushed into it because our thoughts, perspective, and temperament were different. We weren’t particularly wise because we were young.”
Additionally, he acknowledged, “We realized we were not compatible until we began living together after being married, which is when compatibility entered the picture. We lacked the maturity to accept disagreement.
Born in Kolkata on July 12, Kavita Banerjee made her television debut in Teri Meri Ikk Jindri (2021). Additionally, she has appeared in web series such as Divya Prem-Pyaar aur Rahasya Ki Kahaani (2025), Ek Villain Returns (2022), and Hiccups and Hookups (2021).
