Raveena Tandon’s Daughter Rasha Talks About Growing Up with Her Adopted Sisters

Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha, recently shared details about her unique childhood in an interview with Femina. Raveena adopted two girls, Pooja and Chaya, in 1995 when she was just 21 years old. She later married film distributor Anil Thadani in 2004, and they have two children Rasha and her younger brother, Ranbirvardhan.

Talking about her relationship with her siblings, Rasha described it as “complete and utter madness.” She revealed that the four of them often split into teams Chaya and Ranbir on one side, and Pooja and Rasha on the other. “Chaya didi and Ranbir are a bit calmer, but Pooja didi and I always team up against them,” she said.

Pooja now works as an event manager, while Chaya is an air hostess. Raveena has always shared a close bond with her adopted daughters. In a 2016 interview with Hindustan Times, she called them her “best friends” and recalled how they played a special role during her wedding. Years later, Raveena had the emotional experience of walking both daughters down the aisle when they got married.

Rasha recently stepped into Bollywood with the film Azaad, produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor. The movie, set in pre-Independence India, tells the story of a young man and his bond with a horse, highlighting themes of love and loyalty. It was released on January 17 but did not perform as well as expected at the box office.
