On Friday, Redmi launched it’s The Redmi 14C. The smartphone succeeds the Redmi 13C, a low-cost cellphone that was released in December 2023. The Redmi 14C boasts a 6.88-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 5,160mAh battery that supports 18W charging. The phone comes in four colours, includes a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, and a fingerprint scanner on the side for biometric authentication.

The Redmi 14C is a dual-SIM (Nano+Nano) smartphone running Android 14 with the company’s HyperOS layer on top. It has a 6.88-inch HD+ LCD screen (720×1640 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and a maximum brightness level of 450nits. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 CPU with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X memory. For images and videos, the Redmi 14C has a 50-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The smartphone includes a second, unnamed lens. On the front, there is a 13-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The Redmi 14C has up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, which can be upgraded via a MicroSD card slot.
Price of The Redmi 14C
The Redmi 14C’s price is not announced, yet it is apparently available in Czechia for CZK 2,999, i.e., approximately Rs. 11,100 for the base model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and CZK 3,699, i.e., Rs. 13,700 for the 8GB+256GB edition.
