Reliance Jio has been named globally as the fifth strongest brand behind Ferrari and Coca-Cola on the top 500 brands ranking released by The Brand Finance. WeChat is at the first position on the rank.
The Brand Finance said that Jio has become the biggest network operator in India the despite existing for only four years. “Jio took India by storm through offering 4G to millions of users for free, simultaneously transforming how Indians consume the internet – known as the ‘Jio Effect’,” the world’s most prominent brand valuation consultancy said.
The brand strength is determined using authentic market research data in 30 countries by over 50,000 respondents across around 20 sectors.
