Jio today announced that, with immediate effect, JioAirFiber and JioFiber postpaid customers will receive free 24-month subscriptions to YouTube Premium. Customers who have plans ranging from Rs 888 to Rs 3499 can take advantage of the offer, which gives them access to all of YouTube’s premium features, such as background playback, offline downloads, and ad-free streaming.
Additionally, subscribers will be able to access the vast collection of more than 100 million songs on YouTube Music Premium. By clicking on the YouTube Premium banner and entering their YouTube login information, qualified users can activate their subscriptions via the MyJio app.
Both Jio’s set-top boxes and other devices will be able to access the service. Following the practice of the company to bundle premium content services with its fibre tariffs, this strategic alliance is Jio’s most recent attempt to improve its digital service offerings.
