Choreographer and now film maker Remo Dsouza recalls how late Sushant Singh Rajput wanted to do a dance film with him. He recalls Sushant as a dancer with utmost finesse and how he owned the stage each time he stepped on it.
Sushant Singh Rajput was also the finalist on Jhalak Dikhla Ja, which was judged by Remo Dsouza, who was shocked that a dancer as amazing as Sushant didn’t win the title.
Sushant had reappeared in one of the Dance+ episodes, but this time as an actor promoting one of his upcoming films. Remo was one of the judges on the show when Sushant asked him to work on a dance film together. Sushant had casually told him, “Sir, you know I am a good dancer, lets do a dance film together”. Whenever Remo thinks of their last conversation he gets goosebumps.
Remo believes that either one is a born dancer or a trained dancer. As for his views on Sushant, he was a perfect blend of both, someone who learned different forms and performed them with perfection.
Looking back, Remo wishes he had done the dance film with the extremely talented, Sushant Singh Rajput.
Sushant was found dead in his Bandra apartment last year on 14th June, 2020. Following his death, the Narcotics Control Bureau began a probe to further investigate the matter from the drug-related angles.
