Renedy Singh appeals everyone to help COVID-19 struck Manipur

Former Indian midfielder Renedy Singh is working relentlessly to arrange oxygen cylinders and help his home state of Manipur in fighting the battle against COVID-19.

Renedy was known for his ability to put precise passes to the strikers and this habit of assisting hasn’t gone even after 10 years. He said that ” It is a difficult time for everyone. Our frontline workers have been working tirelessly. It was high time we stepped in to try and assist in any way possible, we have friends from different fields like doctors, police officers, IAS officers, and businessmen that have joined the campaign to try and help. Manipuri people who live all over the country and overseas have come forward and are contributing in every way possible, we are trying to buy more oxygen cylinders and hand them over to those who need them. ”

The ground reality in the northeastern state is getting worse and the fatality rate is rising. The state’s isolated location is not helping in any matters ant the front-line workers are not able to reach every place in the state. Renedy appealed to everyone to come forward and ensure that the northeastern state does not face the same trouble as the country’s other Metropolitan cities.
