Republic TV Chief Arnab Goswami was shifted to Taloja Central jail in Navi Mumbai on November 8 from a makeshift quarantine centre in Alibaug citing security reasons. The journalist was arrested on November 4 in an abetment to suicide case. Speaking to reporters, Mr Goswami alleged a threat to his life and appealed to the Union government to intervene. Meanwhile, the Bombay HC will pronounce its order on November 9 on the interim bail application filed by the 47-year-old journalist.
