A recent video from Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani’s wedding event sparked speculation online, as Ranbir Kapoor’s niece, Samara, was seen posing with her mother, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and grandmother, Neetu Kapoor. Some social media users claimed that the teenager had allegedly pushed her nani while posing.
Responding to the controversy, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni clarified the situation in an interview with Hindustan Times. She stated that the incident was “blown out of proportion” and that her daughter was simply excited. “The poor child was only trying to pose. She wasn’t upset. She was very excited, so much so that in the car she kept saying, ‘Oh my God, I’m sure there are gonna be photographers and I’m gonna pose like this and that.’ She just wanted to pose on her own. She didn’t push her nani,” Riddhima explained.
She also revealed that Samara was confused by the online discussions, asking, “When did I push her? I was just trying to extend my arm and get comfortable.”
Addressing past incidents where Samara’s playful behavior was misinterpreted, Riddhima highlighted how kids today are more aware of public scrutiny. She reassured that both she and Neetu Kapoor regularly talk to Samara about handling online opinions.
