After the TRAI data came out, shares of Reliance Industries Ltd jumped nearly 3% on BSE on Thursday. The data revealed Reliance Jio being on the ace’s position leaving Bharti Airtel second. Reliance Jio had a subscriber base of 406.36 billion. Shares of RIL have risen 13% since the beginning of the year. The wireless subscriber market share of the top three operators was 35.28% for Jio, 28.68% for Airtel and 28.42% for Vi at the end of October.
