At the age of 79, veteran Hollywood actor Robert De Niro welcomed his seventh child with girlfriend Tiffany Chen in April.
In her first interview since having birth, Tiffany has now spoken candidly about the issue she encountered following the delivery and the Bell’s palsy that followed. Tiffany recently revealed her difficulties following her C-section delivery in an interview with CBS Mornings, a portion of which was shared on Twitter.
“When I returned home, I noticed that my tongue felt off. It was slightly tingly and just starting to become numb. I soon became aware of how strange my face felt. It was as though everything was about to collapse in on itself. I couldn’t eat because it felt like my face was melting on itself. There’s absolutely something going on here, I exclaimed. As soon as I entered the hospital, I lost all facial movement.”
Tiffany was subsequently identified as having Bell’s palsy, a neurological condition that results in significant facial paralysis or muscle weakness. Robert De Niro, he will be seen in the upcoming movie Killers of the Flower Moon with his longtime partner, director Martin Scorsese. Brendan Fraser, Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone, and Leonardo DiCaprio all have significant roles in the movie. It will be released on October 6, 2023.
