RSS begins three-day All-India executive board meeting

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s three-day all-India executive conference began in Kachnar city in Jabalpur district in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat opened the assembly. According to a functionary cited by news agency PTI, the first day’s debate focused on organising over one lakh Hindu conventions nationwide.

The All-India Executive Committee members, Sanghchalaks, Karyavahs, Pracharaks, and invited workers from all 11 regions and 46 provinces will be among the 407 workers who will attend this meeting, according to RSS co-media incharge Narendra Kumar. These workers include all six Joint Sarkaryavahs of the RSS: Krishna Gopal, Mukund, Arun Kumar, Ramdutt Chakradhar, Alok Kumar, and Atul Limaye.

“It will be a closed meeting where internal discussions will be held on SIR, Hindu conference, harmony meeting, major public seminars to be held during the centenary year, review of Vijayadashami celebrations, and preparations for the door-to-door campaign of RSS, among other important topics,” he continued. At the conference to mark the 350th anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s martyrdom, Birsa Munda’s 150th birthday, and the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram’s” composition, the programs will be discussed.

Recent social figures who have passed away were honoured on Thursday. These include Pramila Tai Medhe, the former chief director of the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti; Madhubhai Kulkarni, a senior campaigner; Vijay Rupani, the former chief minister of Gujarat; Shibu Soren, the former chief minister of Jharkhand; Vijay Malhotra, a senior politician from Delhi; Shri Kasturirangan, a senior scientist; former Governor L. Ganesan; lyricist Piyush Pandey; film actors Satish Shah and Pankaj Dheer; comedian Asrani; and renowned Assamese musician Zubin Garg, who died in the Pahalgam Hindu tourists; the Air India crash; and natural disasters in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Punjab, among other regions of the nation.

Information regarding the community-supported service activities performed by volunteers following natural disasters across the nation was also included in the program.
