The RBI, from December 1 has allowed Real Time Gross Settlement 24 x 7 x 365, to allow easy transfer of large amounts of funds. Currently, RTGS is available for customers from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm on all working days of a week, except second and fourth Saturdays of every month. RTGS is meant for large amount transactions, in this every transaction is settled individually.
