Indian rupee opened 6 paise higher against US dollar on December 29, 2020 at Rs. 73.44 per dollar. Rupee previously at closed 73.36 and has been seeing the early extended gains. Sensex was up at 141.37 points and Nifty was up by 30.70 points.
The dollar has languished a 2 year low on Tuesday as US President signed the COVID-19 relief aid and US lawmakers going forward with it. Oil prices also rose for the 3rd time due to US expanding its aid& ongoing Brexit deal.
