Sai Durgha Tej donates ₹2 lakh to Adarana old-age home in Vijaywada

On Wednesday, actor Sai Durgha Tej, formerly known as Sai Dharam Tej, visits the Kanaka Durga Temple and the Amma Prema Adarana old-age home in Vijaywada. The actor visited the temple in the morning and then went to the elderly home to give them a donation of money.

Sai went to the well-known Durga temple in Vijayawada early on Wednesday. The actor did a puja while wearing trousers and a white t-shirt, and his hair was pulled back by a band. Following his visit, he talked to the media and engaged with temple officials. As promised, he informed them that he was in the city to give money to the elderly residence following the recent floods.

He went to the retirement home in the afternoon and talked to the senior citizens there. He gave ₹2 lakh to the foundation and another ₹3 lakh to other charities after staying there for a while. He himself delivered the checks. Sai made a commitment in 2019 to construct a new building for the elderly residence, which he will accomplish by 2021. Additionally, he has been its full-time adopter for the past three years.

Following the devastating downpour that caused landslides, flooding, and fatalities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Sai promised to provide ₹10 lakh to each of the Chief Minister relief funds in the Telugu states. In addition, he gave the Amma Foundation and other institutions ₹5 lakh. Additional financial contributions were made by his uncle Pawan Kalyan, the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, actor Chiranjeevi, cousins Allu Arjun and Ram Charan, and other relatives.
