During his appearance on Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, actor Saif Ali Khan opened up about the night he confronted an armed intruder in his Bandra home earlier this year. The actor revealed how he fought to protect his son Jeh and their nanny during the frightening incident.

Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan recently recounted a shocking real-life incident that unfolded at his Bandra home earlier this year. Appearing on the new talk show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, the Haiwaan actor revealed how he came face-to-face with an armed intruder in his younger son Jehangir Ali Khan’s room.

Saif shared that the terrifying event took place one night in January after he, along with his sons Taimur and Jeh, had stayed up late watching a movie. Kareena Kapoor Khan was out for the evening and had just returned home when their maid suddenly rushed in, claiming that someone was in Jeh’s room asking for money. “I barged into Jeh’s room in the dark and saw this guy standing over his bed with a knife,” Saif said.

The actor recalled that the intruder had already injured Jeh and the nanny by the time he entered. “He had slightly cut Jeh’s hand and hurt the nanny while poking the knife at them,” Saif explained. Acting on instinct, Saif tackled the man. “I thought he was smaller than me, so I jumped on him. But he had two knives and started slashing. I tried to block him, but suddenly felt a thump in my back that was really bad,” he revealed.

Covered in blood but determined to protect his family, Saif managed to subdue the attacker. The horrifying scene left his children shaken, with Taimur asking his father if he was going to die. Saif, despite his severe injuries, reassured his son before heading to the hospital, where doctors discovered a piece of the knife lodged in his spine. The actor’s bravery that night has since been hailed as a moment of real-life heroism  a stark reminder that courage can emerge even in the most terrifying circumstances.
