On June 6, the veteran actor, Dilip Kumar was admitted to non-Covid P.D Hinduja hospital due to breathlessness. It was followed by a series of rumours about his health condition being serious and also about his death. His wife, Saira Banu put an end to all these rumours by confirming that his health condition is ‘stable’ now.
Saira Banu went on to tweet over Dilip Kumar’s official Twitter handle that, “Don’t believe in Whatsapp forwards. Saab is stable. Thank you for your heartfelt duas and prayers. As per doctors, he should be home in 2-3 day. Insh’Allah.”

Saira Banu told a news portal that he is feeling unwell for the past 2-3 days and also started complaining about breathlessness. Thus he was admitted to the hospital for checkup and routine tests. Dr Jalil Parkar who is monitoring his Bollywood is wishing for a speedy recovery of its 98-year-old talented actor Dilip Kumar and prays for his long life. edition, told Indian Express that the actor was diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusion and his condition was currently stable. “He is on oxygen support, not in ICU or on a ventilator. He is stable,” Parkar said.
The actress asked everyone to pray for his good health and soon recovery. Various artists from the film fraternity sent their virtual well wishes via tweet. Many of them also visited him at the hospital, including the chief of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Sharad Pawar. Also, his Twitter handle is filled with well wishes and prayers from his fans and well-wishers.
