Comedian Samay Raina’s planned shows, “Unfiltered,” at Delhi’s Talkatora stadium on March 21 and 23 have been cancelled due to the continuing issue surrounding his show, India’s Got Latent. BookMyShow indicated that both shows were sold out.
On Saturday, attendees received a notice from the ticketing app alerting them to the cancellation, just a few days prior to the events. BookMyShow has sent this messages to every attendes, “Your Samay Raina Unfiltered – Talkatora Stadium Show scheduled on Fri Mar 21 2025 (or Sun Mar 23 2025) 7:00 PM at Talkatora Stadium Delhi has been cancelled. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We have processed the refund for the amount…The refund should reflect in 7 to 10 working days.”
Either BookMyShow or Samay Raina have not provided an explanation for the cancellation. According to reports last month, Samay Raina’s April shows in Gujarat have also been cancelled due to the outcry over the controversial comments made on the episode of India’s Got Latent, which included content creator Apoorva Mukhija, also known as “The Rebel Kid,” YouTuber Ashish Chanchalani, and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia.
Last month, the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) asserted that Samay Raina’s Gujarat exhibition tickets were no longer offered for sale on BookMyShow. According to the Supreme Court, Raina’s show and BeerBiceps podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia’s comments demonstrate his deviant mentality.
