Samsung Art Store has unveiled a collection of 22 works by Tamara de Lempicka, a prominent artist of the Art Deco movement. This release coincides with a resurgence in interest for Art Deco, often associated with a broader “Neo-Deco” revival, which is reintroducing her distinctive style to a new generation interested in design, both in interiors and fashion.
Tamara de Lempicka is celebrated for her bold compositions, sculptural forms, and refined elegance, encapsulating the modernity of the early 20th century. Her art is characterized by clean lines, striking geometry, and polished surfaces, which continue to influence contemporary art, fashion, and design.
The collection features some of Lempicka’s most acclaimed works, including the iconic “Autoportrait” (1929), a self-portrait created in Paris and commissioned by the German fashion magazine Die Dame to highlight women’s independence. Another notable piece is “St. Moritz,” a sharply composed portrait that showcases her distinct, highly stylized technique. Additionally, the collection includes a selection of still lifes that emphasize her versatility across different subjects while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
Marisa de Lempicka, President of the Tamara de Lempicka Estate, noted, “At the heart of Tamara de Lempicka’s work is a powerful sense of identity, elegance, and modernity. It is important for us to continue sharing that vision in ways that resonate with contemporary audiences. This collaboration with Samsung Art Store enables her work to enter new spaces.”
By adding Lempicka’s work, Samsung Art Store enhances its portfolio in alignment with evolving design trends, offering new ways to personalize living spaces with culturally significant art. This collaboration also underscores the platform’s dedication to accessibility, bringing diverse artistic voices into everyday settings and expanding engagement with important artworks.
Marta Di Gioia, Curator for Samsung Art Store Europe, remarked, “Tamara de Lempicka’s work has a timeless quality that feels especially relevant as Art Deco comes back into focus. The work retains its boldness and modernity without losing its original edge.”
Samsung has been a pioneer in integrating art into home environments for nearly a decade. The Frame, introduced in 2017 as the world’s first Art TV, transformed blank screens into curated canvases. By 2025, the Art TV lineup expanded to include Neo QLED, Micro RGB, and Micro LED, with OLED1 joining in 2026. Samsung Art Store now reaches more TVs than ever, offering a growing catalog across genres and periods, reshaping how people discover and appreciate art.
The Samsung Art Store is available on select OLED models only, specifically the S95H globally and the S99H in Europe.
