At the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event on January 22, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series was introduced both internationally and in India. The South Korean tech giant at the time only disclosed the cost and availability of the base Galaxy S25’s 256GB and 512GB models.
But according to a new source, the phone will also be cheaper and come with a 128GB storage option, making it more accessible to customers. According to 91Mobiles Hindi, which cites retail sources, the Samsung Galaxy S25 128GB model would cost Rs. 74,999 in India.
Notably, the Galaxy S24 was released last year at the same price range with a same setup. Pre-booking for the phone has not yet begun. In addition, there are concerns regarding its accessibility. The official Samsung India website does not list the 128GB model of the phone.
As a result, it might only be offered for sale through physical retail locations and other channels. In the meantime, the phone costs $799 (about Rs. 69,100) in the US and other markets and comes with the same setup.
When the Galaxy S25 first came out in India, it was available with 256GB and 512GB of storage for Rs. 80,999 and Rs. 92,999, respectively. While the Blueblack, Coralred, and Pinkgold colourways are only available through the Samsung online store, the Icy Blue, Mint, Navy, and Silver Shadow colour variants are also accessible. The Samsung Galaxy S25 has a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixel) screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits.
This dual-SIM smartphone is powered by One UI 7, which is based on Android 15. With up to 512GB of storage and 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, it is powered by an octa core Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. A 50-megapixel primary camera with two in-sensor zooms and optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with three optical zooms and OIS make up the Galaxy S25’s triple rear camera arrangement. For taking photos and making video calls, it has a 12-megapixel front camera. The Galaxy S25 has a 4,000mAh battery that requires a 25W charger (additional charger supplied).
