Samuel L Jackson claims his Avengers script was theft – Read now

Nick Fury is back as Samuel L. Jackson in Marvel’s Secret Invasion.

The actor has since admitted that his original watermarked script for The Avengers was really taken from the Marvel Studios production offices in a new interview given to promote the new series. The corporation even went as far as to stage a phoney purchase as a result of the stolen screenplay later turning up for sale online.

Samuel L. Jackson makes a comeback in the new Disney+ Hotstar streaming movie Secret Invasion, which also stars Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Ben Mendelsohn, and Don Cheadle. Samuel recently revealed that he’s always wanted to portray Nick Fury’s origin tale, when he was simply a spy and didn’t have buddies who were superheroes like the Avengers or Captain MarvelFollowing the theft of his Avengers script, Samuel L. Jackson explained how Marvel has strengthened security measures in a roundtable conversation with Entertainment Weekly.

“They shot one down. And they went back to the man’s location after following one. Yes, they did find him and capture him. There are worse cases than that, he said. When we were preparing to film “Avengers,” I recall that someone printed out a copy of my script including my watermark and posted it online for sale. Marvel visited Canada while I was there filming. It had been printed in the manufacturing department. When they identified him, he resigned and fled the country. They staged a phoney purchase.”

Emilia Clarke, who debuted in the MCU with Secret Invasion, continued to commend Marvel for its sophisticated spoiler protection techniques and mentioned how the Game of Thrones cast followed the studio’s lead in this regard. Samuel is also slated to return as Nick Fury in the next Marvel Cinematic Universe movie The Marvels.

He will reteam with Brie Larson, who plays Carol Danvers, nicknamed Captain Marvel, in the movie. On November 10, The Marvels is scheduled for release.
