Santoshi Shinde on her new music video Naina: Everyone in the team worked very hard to make us look dreamy on the screen

Sara aka Santoshi Shinde’s new song Naina has garnered immense praise from all quarters. Its enchanting melody has struck a chord with music enthusiasts, leaving them mesmerized and wanting more. As the track continues to be played on repeat, the accompanying music video featuring Shinde and Sachin Vasisht is a visual delight. Sharing the experience of shooting the same, Shinde tells us, “It was really fun for me.”

She goes on, “The music video tells a cute story of a tourist guide who falls in love with a girl visiting Rishikesh for the first time on a solo trip. Shooting the video was an experience I would cherish all my life because everyone on the set was very sweet and helpful, and all of us ended up becoming friends. They were equally professional. From director to the DOP, each member in the team worked so hard to make us look dreamy on the screen.”

The video has been directed by Lokesh Lagwal and produced by Rajat Sharma. The tune is by Ashish Sharma and vocals are by Priya Mallick and Ayushi Soni.

While the results were even better than the team’s expectations, a lot of struggle went in behind the camera. “We had to shoot at the Goa beach and it was a struggle because we were supposed to walk bare foot for the scenes. The rock and all sort of stuff on the shore would hurt my feet so bad that it would turn red every single time,” she tells us. However, Shinde was happy seeing the output. “It looks like we are somewhere in the Maldives because the water is so clear,” she adds.

The music video was also a big opportunity for the young artiste, who has been trying to make a career in the showbiz industry for quite a while now. “I’ve been trying to get good acting opportunities for a few years now, giving auditions in every part of the city. But I believe it’s all about the timings. You get what’s best for you when the time is right. Luck and timings played a huge role in giving me this project as well and I am extremely happy bout it,” she wraps up.
