Sara Ali Khan remembers Kedarnath on its 7th anniversary; shares emotional note

Sara Ali Khan is celebrating a special milestone as her debut film Kedarnath completes seven years since its release. On December 7, the actor shared an emotional post on Instagram, revisiting the memories of her first project and expressing gratitude to everyone who shaped the journey, especially her late co-star Sushant Singh Rajput.

To commemorate the milestone, Sara shared a series of unseen pictures from the film’s shoot on Instagram. Alongside the images, she wrote a reflective note, expressing how deeply the experience continues to influence her. “If only I could go back to 2017… not to change a single moment but to relive and truly appreciate every nanosecond of that magical time,” she wrote, adding that she misses that phase every day.

Sara described Kedarnath as a project that nurtured her and taught her invaluable lessons. She credited the film for shaping many of her personal interests from trekking and black coffee to her fondness for pahadi food and her “moon obsession.” She expressed gratitude to Sushant for introducing her to these joys and for encouraging her to stay curious and eager to learn.

She also thanked director Abhishek Kapoor for guiding her through the film and acknowledged the writers and crew who played a role in creating a world that remains close to her heart. Ending her note with “2017–(Infinity emoji) Jai Bholenath,” Sara reaffirmed the spiritual and emotional connection she still holds with the film and the valley where it was shot.
