Actor Sara Arjun is currently balancing excitement around her upcoming film Euphoria with growing curiosity about Dhurandhar 2, where she will once again share screen space with Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna. While Euphoria, a youth-focused social drama also starring Bhumika Chawla, is set to release in theatres on February 6, fans are equally eager for Dhurandhar 2, scheduled to arrive on March 19.
During recent promotional interactions, Sara addressed the discussion around the nearly 20-year age gap between her and Ranveer Singh, who plays her onscreen lover and later husband in the Dhurandhar franchise.
In an interview with NDTV, the actor said that the debate largely remained on social media, a space she is not actively involved in. She explained that she believes everyone is entitled to their opinion and follows a “live and let live” approach, adding that it does not affect how she views her work. Sara said she was aware of the story and felt the narrative justified the casting.
Sara also shared that she remains largely disconnected from online trends, having grown up in a boarding school with limited access to devices. Even after graduating, she never developed the habit of using social media and prefers other forms of entertainment, a choice she says she is happy with.
Speaking about Ranveer Singh, Sara described him as warm, encouraging and deeply supportive on set. She said she never felt intimidated by his experience and praised his collaborative spirit, noting that he treats filmmaking as a team effort. According to Sara, Ranveer’s involvement goes beyond his own performance, as he actively supports everyone on set. She added that he has set a high standard for her, calling him her favourite co-actor so far.
