Following the strong response to Dhurandhar on OTT, a heartwarming throwback video featuring actor Sara Arjun has resurfaced on social media platform X, drawing attention from fans. The clip takes viewers back to Sara’s early years as a child actor during the making of the critically acclaimed Tamil drama Deiva Thirumagal (2011), where she shared screen space with Anushka Shetty.
In the film, Sara played Nila, the young daughter of Vikram’s character, while Anushka appeared as a lawyer who becomes a crucial part of the narrative. In the resurfaced video, originally recorded during an interaction with IndiaGlitz, Sara is seen fondly recalling her bond with Anushka, whom she affectionately referred to as “didi”. She spoke about how Anushka looked after her on set, advising her on food habits and ensuring she ate well during the shoot.
Sara’s innocent recollections and cheerful praise for her co-star struck a chord with viewers. Fans flooded the post with heart emojis, commenting on how adorable she looked as a child actor and appreciating the warmth she expressed while talking about her experience.
Sara Arjun, who has worked in films from a young age, has also appeared in projects such as Ek Thi Daayan, Jai Ho, Saivam and Saivam. More recently, she played Yalina in Dhurandhar, portraying a key character in the second half of the film. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller emerged as the highest-grossing film of 2025, earning over ₹1300 crore worldwide. The sequel is scheduled for a theatrical release in March 2026.
