SBI issues alert mentioning the halt on operations of its online banking apps on Thursday

State Bank of India is an Indian multinational, public sector banking and financial services statutory body and the largest lender in India. It has been announced that the internet banking platform YONO and YONO Lite will be unavailable for two hours on Thursday, June 17th. In the statement released, they have mentioned that “We will be undertaking maintenance activities between 00:30 hrs and 02:30 hrs on 17.06.21. During this period, Internet Banking/ YONO/ YONO Lite/ UPI will be unavailable. We regret the inconvenience caused and request you to bear with us,”.

SBI Online, Internet Banking, UPI Payment, YONO, YONO Lite services will not be available on the interceding night of Wednesday and Thursday for two hours

State Bank of India (SBI) has tweeted this information in order for the SBI customers to not face any hardships or paranoia. No services provided by the apps such as SBI Online, Internet Banking, UPI Payment, YONO, YONO Lite will remain unavailable for two hours beginning at 12.30 am on Thursday, June 17, 2021, and customers will be able to use such facilities on Thursday 12, 2021 starting 2:30 AM. The reason for this shutdown, as mentioned by the State Bank of India, is for maintenance of the platforms as well as update of the services provided.
