Sean “Diddy” Combs, the iconic music mogul currently facing serious charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, is set to become the focus of a highly anticipated documentary. Titled Diddy: In Plain Sight, this new project by Channel 4 and Lion TV will explore the darker side of Diddy’s life, shedding light on the alleged crimes he stands accused of.
Diddy, who was arrested in September 2024, remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, having been denied bail multiple times. His trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025, and if convicted, he could face life in prison. The mogul has pleaded not guilty to all charges, which include multiple lawsuits from men and women accusing him of rape, drugging, coercion, and other serious offenses.
According to a source close to the project, the documentary aims to give a voice to those who have yet to speak out about their experiences. “This in-depth program will dive into all the charges, the highs and lows of Diddy’s success, and what went on behind the scenes at his infamous White Parties,” the insider shared. “It will no doubt produce some very shocking revelations.”
The upcoming documentary is one of many projects aimed at dissecting Diddy’s life and legal troubles. Notably, rapper 50 Cent is also working on a documentary about the disgraced mogul, and Netflix is preparing a film titled Diddy Do It?. Other documentaries exploring his fall from grace include The Downfall of Diddy by TMZ, The Making of a Bad Boy on Peacock, and HBO’s The Fall of Diddy.
Diddy: In Plain Sight is expected to be released later this year and promises to offer an in-depth and revealing look into one of the most controversial figures in the music industry.
