SEBI appoints a former CEC to be the observer for e-voting process: Franklin Templeton

Taruvai Subayya Krishnamurthy, who is a former Chief Election Commissioner of India, was appointed as an observer in e-voting of units holder of six schemes of Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund on Saturday by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

He will oversee the e-voting process, scheduled between 26-29 December. He served as the 13th Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of India and his main task was to oversee the 2004 elections of the Lok Sabha.
