The Wealth Company Mutual Fund has secured approval from SEBI to introduce its Specialized Investment Fund (SIF) platform, branded as WSIF, marking a significant expansion of its strategy offerings within the mutual fund space.
The AMC has appointed Chinmay Sathe as Chief Investment Officer & Head – SIF.
WSIF, the company said, is built around a clear and conviction-driven philosophy, integrating structured research, precision in execution and informed risk-taking. Its process aims to deliver differentiated, cycle-resilient returns using tools such as hedging, directional strategies and disciplined allocation.
Founder and CEO Madhu Lunawat described SIFs as an inflection point for India’s mutual fund industry and said the AMC plans to launch multiple products across the SIF category.
Sathe noted that WSIF will be structured to reflect investor-specific risk and allocation needs, drawing on “deep market experience and intelligent aggression.”
Positioned to serve HNIs, family offices and sophisticated wealth platforms, WSIF intends to offer both strong upside capture and disciplined downside protection within a SEBI-regulated environment.
The Wealth Company, overseeing nearly ₹10,000 crore in client assets, also manages several Category II AIFs under the Bharat Value Fund series. As a signatory to UN PRI, the firm incorporates ESG principles into its investment framework.
